what are clear aligners?
Clear aligners, also called invisible aligners, clear braces or just Aligners, fix misaligned teeth. They are a virtually invisible and removable alternative to braces designed around convenience and flexibility.
The aligner trays are made of BPA-free plastic and are custom-made for every patient.
Each tray discreetly moves the teeth in small increments. Aligner trays are routinely swapped out every 2 weeks until the teeth are straight and aligned. How many trays you need depends on the severity of teeth misalignment.

After completing high school at Ligbron Academy for Technology, Dr. Seedat graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry (BChD) from the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa. Dr Seedat also holds a Post Graduate diploma in Implantology and is currently completing his Post graduate studies in Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr Seedat is also certified to administer anti- wrinkle and Filler Treatments to his patients.

Since completing his education and going into private practice, Dr. Seedat makes continued education a priority. His goals include offering his patients the best care with the latest methods and technology. Not only does he enjoy performing procedures to improve the patient’s overall dental health, but he delights in knowing his patients feel great about the appearance of their smile.

Dr Seedat Prides himself on the value of broadening and constantly enhancing his skills. Dr. Seedat has also won the South African Dental Association award in Prosthetic Dentistry (2017) and Placed gold in the National Computer Olympiad (2012).

Dr Seedat is also a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Clear Correct Aligners in South Africa.

Dr Ammarah Vahed qualified from the university of a western Cape in 2017 and has since completed a post graduate diploma in interceptive orthodontics. She is currently undergoing studies in facial aesthetics with the American Academy of aesthetic medicine. She has also completed courses with Medskills in order to introduce various aesthetic procedures to her patients. Dr Vahed is also certified to administer anti- wrinkle and Filler Treatments to her patients.
Dr Vahed practices all aspects of general dentistry and especially loves working with children. Her calming and caring nature allows her patients to feel at ease. She believes in continuously educating herself to offer the best possible service and treatment to her patients. She looks forward to welcoming you to our practice
